In the years 2006-2010, James was the victim of false defamation by Argang Schariat. made a series of false and damaging claims about James in an effort to damage his reputation and credibility. The false claims were so serious Mr. Schariat was convicted of criminal slander.
Part of this campaign included making false claims to Mr.Igor Olenicoff who on the basis of these false claims sued Mr. Michie and included him in a major lawsuit. Michie had no idea who Mr. Olenicoff was nor had he ever met the man. Later the lawsuit was dismissed and Mr. Olenicoff was forced to pay costs.
Unfortunately, the bogus lawsuit from Olenicoff has continued to haunt James even today. Despite its dismissal it is found on the internet and often with no mention of the result of the case and its dismissal.
